![]() So without any further ado, let’s jump into my Grand Theft Auto 6 wishlist! It’s just a bit of fun from a sometime fan of the series – and given that we know next to nothing about what the game will actually look like, why not throw some ideas of my own out there? It goes without saying that all of this is subjective – I don’t have any “insider information” and I’m not trying to claim that the next Grand Theft Auto game needs to have any or all of these features. It’s been eight months since I last looked ahead to Grand Theft Auto 6, and with the game’s official announcement doing the rounds I thought it could be fun to put together a short wishlist of things I’d personally like to see the next entry include. What comes next is going to be of interest to a great many people. It makes sense: Grand Theft Auto V is one of the best-selling entertainment products of all time, eclipsing films, television shows, and even entire franchises. So depending on the story and setting of the game I don't mind what gender the main character is, as long as it isn't forced in our face every 10 seconds that she doesn't need help from any men because that does get old very fast.If you haven’t heard that Rockstar just confirmed the worst-kept secret in gaming – that Grand Theft Auto 6 is in production – then you must be living under a rock! The news has been everywhere in recent days, and even made it into mainstream (i.e. Unlike the majority of "gamers" I don't feel that just because there is a female character the SJW are ruining everything, females exist and can tell interesting storys too, and just like male characters can tell some storys females can't, female characters also can tell some storys males can't. I don't understand why so many people are saying " if gta6 has a female protagonist I won't but the game!" I think that if Rockstar go the multiple protagonist direction again having a female character would open up new posiblitys for the gta series, maybe show a side of the criminal underworld that only a female character can experience (depending on how controversial Rockstar are willing to be).If they do go the one protagonist direction I feel Rockstar will chose the right character for the story they want to tell. I don't care what gender the next gta protagonist is, Rockstar did an amazing job with Arthur Morgan in red dead 2 so as long as the next character has the same level of detail as Arthur then I don't mind, I trust Rockstar will only give us a female protagonist of it makes sense. Ik that doesn’t apply for everyone, but.idk Maybe it’s because as a guy I’d prefer to play open world as a guy? Idk. I still don’t think I’ve touched enough on why I won’t feel immersed with a female character but it’s just one of those things that’s just hard to explain. ![]() I feel like for some reason with a female protagonist, no matter how good the story and character development may be, even if it’s 10xbetter than red dead 2, i won’t feel immersed into the open world. I sorta forget everything that’s happened and just immerse myself into the world. It seems kinda silly but I sometimes role play situations in my head, but never really think back to the story. In gta 5 when I play as Franklin after I finished the game, I just walk around and drive around basking in the world. But when it comes to post story gameplay, like red dead 2 and gta 5, I sorta mentally abandon the campaign story. ![]() And if we had the chance to play as Sadie I would no doubt find myself immersed into her character and her story. Like Sadie for example was an amazing character. ![]() When I say immersion I don’t necessarily mean immersion into the story.
